Meatless Monday | Easy Creamy Vegan Pizza

With Thanksgiving leftovers finished and no new groceries in the house, one has to figure out how to eat. Insert this pizza creation.

Do not ask me how the idea popped into my head. We can chalk it to years of cooking and being creative. Somehow I got the crazy idea to combine my Vegan Flour Tortilla Recipe with my BBQ Tofu Recipe and my Vegan Alfredo Cause Recipe to make a pizza. And it turned out AMAZING!!!!

I hope you enjoy it as  much as we did. It’s super easy to make too, which is a plus.



  • 1 cup flour
  • Sea salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Creamy Sauce

  • 1  cup sunflower seeds
  • Nutritional yeast to taste (start with 14Cup)
  • Water to desired thickness
  • 1TBS Lemon juice or lime juice or apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, pepper, garlic to taste


  • Super Firm Tofu
  • BBQ Sauce of your choice (I used Korean BBQ Sauce from Trader Joe’s. Try to find one with the lowest sugar count possible.)
  • Zucchini
  • Tomatoes


Cut tofu in cubes. Cover with BBQ sauce. Broil until crispy.

While tofu is cooking, mix flour and salt together. Add water slowly and more if dough is too dry. Knead it for a few minutes. Then separate into two balls. Put a little extra flour on your surface and on your rolling pin. Begin rolling out one ball at time to create a flat and thin crust. You do not want this to be thick because we’re cooking it like a tortilla. Once rolled out, set aside and repeat the process for the next ball of dough.


Heat up a skillet big enough to fit one crust at time. You want this skillet to be fairly hot. No oil is needed. Put dough in the pan, watch the bubbles form, when it’s a little browned on the bottom, flip it. When that side has browned remove it and repeat the process for the other crust.


Check on tofu at this point. If it is ready, remove it. If not, move on to the cream sauce.

Add all ingredients to High Speed Blender or Food Processor. Blend until smooth. Keep adding water and nutritional yeast to desired consistency. Once that is on point, adjust the seasoning. A little smoked paprika is good to add as well.

Chop up some zucchini and tomatoes

Add cream sauce to crust, top it off with tofu and veggies. Drizzle additional BBQ sauce on top.

Throw in oven at 350 degrees for about 5-10 minutes since everything is already cooked.
